Utility Bill FAQ
Q: When are bills sent/due?
A: Bills are typically sent out the first business day of every month and are due by the 20th of that month.
Q: What if I pay after the 20th?
A: There is a 10% penalty for every late utility payment, and failure to pay will result in discontinuance of service.
Q: How can I pay my bill?
A: Residents may pay their bill by check, money order, cash, or credit/debit card (fees may apply to credit/debit card payments).
Check, money order, and cash payments may be made:
In person at the Village Hall, 26296 US-12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112 during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, or left in the door slot 24/7.

Q: Can I sign up for paperless billing?
A: Yes! Just call us at 269-663-8484 or email us at voe_utility@comcast.net with your email address and ask for paperless billing.
Q: Can I view my balance online?
A: Yes! By clicking on the link for BS&A Payments, you have the option to view your bill. If you create an account, you will then be able to view your account history.
Q: Can I set up automatic bill pay?
A: Yes! Once an account has been established in BS&A payments, you can set up an automatic payment.
Q: If I do not receive my bill, do I still owe?
A: Yes. Bills are typically sent out on the first business day of every month. We highly suggest signing up for paperless billing, as paper bills may occasionally may be lost in the mail, or we may have been given an incorrect mailing address. If you have not received your bill, please view it online, or call us at 269-663-8484 for your balance. Please verify your address and/or email if you are not receiving your bills on a regular basis.
Q: Am I responsible for a past balance left by a previous resident?
A: According to Village policy, utility bills stay with the property. Outstanding bills must be dealt with in closing on a property sale or between a landlord and renter.
