The Sixth Annual Winter Wonderland Christmas Party is Saturday, December 15th from 8:00 until 10:00 A.M. The event will be in the Hope Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Elkhart Road. Invitation to this Christmas Party is designed for families who may be struggling this time of year and in need of assistance thru the Edwardsburg Food Pantry.
The Edwardsburg Sports Complex is having their 4th Annual Holiday Auction on December 1, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. The event will be located at Our Lady of the Lake social hall. Come learn more about their amazing facility, support a great cause, enjoy food by Victorian Pantry, a cash bar, games, and win unique auction items! Your generous support will help continue development of their baseball facility.
Pancakes & sausage served at Edwardsburg Fire Department from 8 a.m. to noon, Santa & Mrs. Clause arrive at 9 a.m. Photos & visits with Santa are from 9 to 11 a.m. Breakfast is free with a non-perishable food item or cash donation. All proceeds go to the Edwardsburg Food Pantry.
Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) has partnered with the Cassopolis VFW’s Ladies Auxiliary #10704 to serve a free Thanksgiving meal to local vets, their families and friends on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The meal will be served at the VFW, 131 S. Broadway St., Cassopolis.
On Tuesday, October 30, Representative Kim LaSata, candidate for Michigan State Senate, will be at the Village Hall from 11:30 am to 12:00 noon. The public is welcome to stop by to speak with LaSata during this time.
In an effort to support and grow our local business community, the Edwardsburg Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing the annual Discovery Expo to be held on Thursday September 27, 2018, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Edwardsburg Fire Station. Set up for the event vendors will be from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm.
The regularly scheduled Village Council meeting has been postponed one week and is rescheduled for Monday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting of the Village Council is held on the 3rd Monday of each month and is open to the public.
This annual event will provide backpacks with age-appropriate school supplies to low-income students throughout Cass County.
School Supply Spectacular 2018 will be held on Saturday, August 18 from 10am - 1pm at Brookside Learning Center (61662 Dailey Rd., Cassopolis, Michigan 49031).
A limited number of backpacks will also be available on Wednesday, August 22 from 10am - 1pm at Marcellus Methodist Church (197 W. Main, Marcellus, Michigan 49607).
Cass County has received a grant for the collection of used passenger car/pickup truck tires. Proof of residency is required. Two trailers will be located at the Cass County Building (historic county courthouse), 120 N Broadway, Cassopolis, MI on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9am to 12pm.
Please join us for a 50th birthday celebration for the Edwardsburg Ambulance Service. Celebration will take place on Saturday July 28, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Ontwa Township Hall.
